Initially, the photoelectric conversion efficiency of silicon solar photovoltaic cells was very low. , only 6%, and the cost is also very high, more than 1,000 times higher than conventional electricity, it cannot be widely used at all, and can only be used for those satellites and spacecraft that are not sensitive to cost.
(2) According to the structure of the battery, it can be roughly divided into two types of solar photovoltaic cells: block (sheet) or thin film. Block (sheet) solar photovoltaic cells can be further divided into monocrystalline silicon solar photovoltaic cells, polycrystalline silicon solar photovoltaic cells and other block (sheet) solar photovoltaic cells. Thin-film solar photovoltaic cells can be further divided into amorphous silicon solar photovoltaic cells and compound solar photovoltaic cells.
