Does solar photovoltaic power generation need to install a tracking system?

In all solar photovoltaic power generation industry systems, one of the most frequently required components to be installed is the tracking system. It is a mechanical component that fixes the solar photovoltaic power generation array and tracks the sun throughout the day. On this issue, most people believe that the tracking system is an absolutely necessary requirement for all photovoltaic arrays. It is absolutely cool and absolutely great (in addition, it can increase the total power generation). But before calling the tracking system an indispensable part of a photovoltaic array, it must be evaluated based on facts.

First, consider the fact that the tracking system contains moving components and will eventually fail. One of the inherent advantages of the photovoltaic array is that it does not require moving parts-there are not many power generation systems with this advantage. Adding a tracking system obliterates this advantage to a considerable extent. Now not only the price of photovoltaic modules has been declining, but compared with the installation of small square arrays on the tracking system, the installation of photovoltaic modules on a cheap bracket has a greater benefit.

But for most people, a simple static installation system can also achieve the goal without adding a device that works regularly.
